Amanda McGreer – Development Analyst

MEDINA, OHIO June 2021 – Amanda McGreer has joined the Pride One Construction as a  Development Analyst.

Amanda is a recent graduate of John Carroll University, where she studied physics.  She is new to construction but is prepared to put her critical thinking skills to action in development and construction activities.

Amanda grew up in Brunswick, OH and graduated from Brunswick High School in 2017.  She attended John Carroll University where she was a member of the Women’s Swimming and Diving Team, participated in undergraduate research and was a Teaching Assistant. At John Carroll, Amanda learned the Jesuit core value of being a woman for others through education, service and leadership.  In May of 2021 she graduated with honors, earning her Bachelor of Science in Physics degree and was awarded the Joseph L. Hunter Award.  Amanda is continuing her education at John Carroll by pursuing an MBA.

Amanda enjoys traveling, spending her free time with family and hiking.  She now lives in University Heights with her fiancé Tim and their dog, Hazel.

Dante Bartolone – Intern

MEDINA, OHIO June 2021 – Dante Bartolone has joined the Pride One Commercial Team as an Intern.

Dante is a Senior at Kent State University where he is studying Construction Management with a planned graduation in Spring of 2022. He is a 2017 graduate from Tuslaw High School. 

In a short time Dante has proven to be a hard worker, fast learner and a great team member.

Dante’s goals for his summer internship are to play a large role and learn as much as he can from the experience. 

Dante is working with Team Casto on the Montgomery Quarter and Liberty Flats projects. 

We’re excited to have Dante for the summer!

Alana Jaroska – Project Accountant

MEDINA, OHIO June 2021 – Alana Jaroska has joined the Pride One Accounting Team as a Project Accountant.

Alana Jaroska graduated from Highland High School in 2016. She then attended college down in South Carolina at Coastal Carolina University (CCU), graduating from the Honors college in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (concentration in Animal Behavior) and a minor in Marine Science. Alana then continued education at CCU, receiving a Master’s in Business Administration in 2020.

She has a younger sister and a 3-year-old Pitbull named Bruno. In her free time, she hangs out with friends and attends church at Grace Church of Norton. Other hobbies include camping, playing video games, and baking.

Alana is a great asset and we’re happy she has found a home at Pride One!

Jeff Nagy – Senior Purchaser

MEDINA, OHIO April 2021 – Jeff Nagy has been named Senior Purchaser at Pride One Construction.

Jeff formerly served as a Project Manager and  Senior Construction Cost Manager with Ryan Homes. 

Nagy brings over eighteen years experience with a talent for keeping projects on budget.  Jeff has a “team first” attitude which makes him a natural fit for the Pride One culture.

As a Project Manager, he built 305 homes.  After ten years, he was promoted to Senior Construction Manager where Jeff had a direct impact on the sale and construction of over 1500+ homes.

Jeff has been recognized for numerous awards including Rookie of the Year, Several MVP Awards, Master Builders Society, Most Outstanding Performance in the Area of Production in Northeast Ohio, Presidents Award for Production in the Mid-East Region, and Construction Volume and Distinguished Builder Awards.

 

Jeff grew up North Olmsted, Ohio and graduated high school in 1998 from Open Door Christian School.  He attended Geneva College where is was a 4 year letter winner in soccer and Senior captain before graduating with a Bachelors degree in Business Management in 2002

He now lives in Rocky River, Ohio with his wife Becca and their son Noah.  Soccer is still a part of his life.  He has been involved in youth soccer for over 10 years in the Rocky River Soccer Organization and coaching for the last 6.

Taylor Leohr – New Director of Accounting

Taylor Leohr has been named Director of Accounting at Pride One Construction. Taylor previously served as Director of Project Engineering at Pride One. Pride One Construction is a Developer and General Contractor that works primarily in the Eastern US from Florida to Michigan. Our Core focus of projects are Multi-Family Apartments, Industrial Warehouses, Hotels, Senior Living, and Commercial Construction.

Taylor has ten years of experience in accounting and construction. She started her career as a Project Accountant at Pride One in 2010 and held that role for four years. She then worked at Redwood Living for three years as their Cash Manager. She managed over 150 checking accounts and helped manage their cash flow in each account. In 2017 she came back to Pride One as a Project Engineer and in 2020 was promoted to Director of Accounting. Taylor brings a unique set of values to Pride One since she has been on the Operations and Finance side. She has been able to help bring the two sides of the company together to help with getting accurate job financials and accurate job forecasting.

Before her career started Taylor spent most of her time in the barn riding her horses. Once she started college, she shifted to playing tennis. Taylor graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Accounting in 2014. She then decided to get more schooling and in 2017 graduated with her MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.

Tim Courtad – New President and Partner at Pride One Construction

Tim Courtad has been named President of Pride One Construction. Tim previously served as VP of Business Development. Pride One Construction is a Developer and General Contractor that works primarily in the Eastern US from Florida to Michigan. Our Core focus of projects are Multi-Family Apartments, Industrial Warehouses, Hotels, Senior Living, and Commercial Construction. Pride One was founded in 1991 and is approaching it’s 30 year Anniversary.

Tim Courtad has over 20 years of experience in construction. He started his career at Courtad Inc (40 Year Commercial Architectural Metal Company), where Tim wore every hat in the business. He was a Foreman in the field, Factory fabricator, Project Manager, Director of Operations, Estimator, Sales, HR, and Executive. Tim managed every facet of the business at one time or another. Tim has worked with many of the top Developers, General Contractors, and Sub-Contractor’s in the US. Tim brings years of experience in construction and business in which he is the perfect leader for Pride One’s future.

In 2019, Tim Courtad came over to Pride One and immediately impacted the business. Tim has solidified many big relationships and was able to closeout our hardest projects. Tim also has been one of our main architects building our infrastructure as we continue to strive for sustainability and growth. He has a great eye for talent and strategically gives our employees the tools to be successful. He has won at everything he has ever done and is relentless in the pursuit of excellence. Tim embodies a positive culture through transparency, expectations, and accountability. Tim is also a true visionary and leader of people. He sets high goals not only for himself, but also for our employees. He is a firm believer of core values in which he embodies every day with his leadership and decision-making ability.

Before his construction career began, Tim was an elite wrestler and football player in college. He played football and wrestled at Miami University of Ohio and later transferred to Ohio University where he was an All-American athlete.  Tim graduated with his bachelor’s degree in 2000 from Ohio University. Tim also coached wrestling at Cleveland State University and Clarion University where he completed his graduate class work. Tim has been married for 17 years to his wife Robin and has 4 kids Cole 16, Kara 15, Curt 12, and Cal 9. He resides in Aurora, OH.
