Tim Courtad has been named President of Pride One Construction. Tim previously served as VP of Business Development. Pride One Construction is a Developer and General Contractor that works primarily in the Eastern US from Florida to Michigan. Our Core focus of projects are Multi-Family Apartments, Industrial Warehouses, Hotels, Senior Living, and Commercial Construction. Pride One was founded in 1991 and is approaching it’s 30 year Anniversary.

Tim Courtad has over 20 years of experience in construction. He started his career at Courtad Inc (40 Year Commercial Architectural Metal Company), where Tim wore every hat in the business. He was a Foreman in the field, Factory fabricator, Project Manager, Director of Operations, Estimator, Sales, HR, and Executive. Tim managed every facet of the business at one time or another. Tim has worked with many of the top Developers, General Contractors, and Sub-Contractor’s in the US. Tim brings years of experience in construction and business in which he is the perfect leader for Pride One’s future.

In 2019, Tim Courtad came over to Pride One and immediately impacted the business. Tim has solidified many big relationships and was able to closeout our hardest projects. Tim also has been one of our main architects building our infrastructure as we continue to strive for sustainability and growth. He has a great eye for talent and strategically gives our employees the tools to be successful. He has won at everything he has ever done and is relentless in the pursuit of excellence. Tim embodies a positive culture through transparency, expectations, and accountability. Tim is also a true visionary and leader of people. He sets high goals not only for himself, but also for our employees. He is a firm believer of core values in which he embodies every day with his leadership and decision-making ability.

Before his construction career began, Tim was an elite wrestler and football player in college. He played football and wrestled at Miami University of Ohio and later transferred to Ohio University where he was an All-American athlete.  Tim graduated with his bachelor’s degree in 2000 from Ohio University. Tim also coached wrestling at Cleveland State University and Clarion University where he completed his graduate class work. Tim has been married for 17 years to his wife Robin and has 4 kids Cole 16, Kara 15, Curt 12, and Cal 9. He resides in Aurora, OH.
